At Hampden Medical Center, we provide adult acute care services, including medical-surgical, intermediate and intensive care, emergency medicine and labor and delivery.

Our hospitalists lead the health care team and coordinate round-the-clock care for hospitalized patients with nonsurgical issues. Outpatient Services
Outpatient services offered at Hampden Medical Center include non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic services, imaging, lab and urology. To schedule cardiovascular diagnostic services and imaging, please call717-972-4900.

Women’s Services
Hampden Medical Center provides complete care for all women’s health needs, including labor and delivery.
Our new, state-of-the-art Women and Babies Center at Hampden Medical Center opened on Dec. 1, and features spacious, comfortable labor and delivery, antepartum and postpartum rooms and a neonatal special care and well-baby nursery. The center also has dedicated operating rooms for cesarean deliveries.
Our priority is to ensure that the birth of your child is a safe, joyous and beautiful experience. If you or your baby require advanced specialty care, you will benefit from the locally coordinated care provided between clinical teams at Hampden Medical Center, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey. Our Children’s Hospital has the area’s only Level IV neonatal intensive care unit, the highest level of neonatal care.

This state-of-the-art hospital has 110-private inpatient beds.
